How to arrive?
In order to get from Mexico City, you must take Periferico highway all the way up to Queretaro exit, there is the Tepozotlan Booth. Follow onto the highway for about 100 km, the following booth is called Palmillas, from then on the road starts to descend notoriously, there’s even a red lane for vehicles without breaks; while going down hill you can see San Juan de Rio. About 10 or 11 km after Palmillas booth there is the Tequisquiapan junction to the right. Must follow the road without detouring, almost 20 km ahead is Tequisquiapan.
As soon as you arrive to the city you may spot the Communitarian Center, a big white building; then there is an Exhibitions Center and then the Bus Station, you may notice a sign that says: “E. Montes” to the left and “Tequisquiapan” to the right, must make a right (where there is a gas station). About 150 meters ahead you notice a front arch, make a right before that arch over Matamoros street, there’s also an arch over this street. Go on for 400 meters ahead and the street ends, you must turn right over De la Rivera street, a very narrow street of two ways (please drive cautiously).
A couple of corners ahead you find the river and the street that goes over the river, once you get through it you must make, for more reference, if you begin a cobblestone road, you’ve gone too far. The street you have to take is the pavement street that borders the river for about 1 km and you find Juarez Avenue, once you get there, turn left and you are already there.
